She represents Public Universities on the Council.
She is an experienced academician, University Administrator and Social Development Analyst and a renowned gender and Women advocate. She has had an enviable privilege of combining academic work with women’s rights activist work. She has been a Professor of Gender Studies and the Vice-Chancellor of Kabale University since November 2005 to date. She oversaw the transformation of Kabale University from a private community University to a Public University. Even when Kabale University was a private University, she effectively steered it to attain a University Charter in 2014.

Prof. K.M. Mathew
Chairperson – Audit and Risk Management Committee
Bio:
Prof. K.M. Mathew is an experienced academic administrator and scholar. He did his Masters in Political Science and also completed LLB and earned two Masters in LAW, LLM in International Law& LLM in Administrative Law. Prof. Mathew did PG Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personal Management, Human Resource Management, Alternative Dispute Management from various reputed Institutes. He carried out extensive research in Human Right in Conflict and Combat zone and completed PHD from the Prestigious Jamia University, New Delhi. He is an expert in Conflict Management, Resource Mobilization and Personal Management. Prof. Mathew was associated with one of the largest Youth Organization in the World (National Cadet Corps) and actively participated in various International Youth Activities, International Youth Exchange Programs and Intellectual Development Programs. He is resource person for various Socio-Political Workshops and Seminars. He assumed the appointment of Vice Chancellor of ISBAT University in March 2018 and currently the member of National Council of Higher Education representing the Senate of Vice Chancellors of Private Universities.

Dr. Jenipher Twebaze Musoke

Representation: She represents the Commerce Industry
Dr. Jenipher Twebaze Musoke is an experienced Researcher, Administrator and Coordinator. She is a staff and member of National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She has been a Presidential Advisor on improving household income for 11years. She has led Research for BRAC Africa; coordinated research and training between Makerere, Copenhagen&Aarhus; other projects funded by World Bank, DFID, MasterCard Foundation, GlobalFund, Oxfam and DANIDA. Dr Jenipher’s research is published in Anthropology&Medicine, Princeton University Press, African Journal of International Health; Routledge&Duke University Press. She is married with children.
