THEME: Harnessing Innovations in Higher Education for Accelerated Economic Transformation
The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) invites scholars, researchers, and higher education institutions to contribute to the upcoming November 2025 journal edition (Volume 13, Issue 1) of the Uganda Higher Education Review Journal.
This reputable journal, known for its diverse and current content and broad readership, is a prominent platform for publishing authoritative articles on the theory, practice, and policies concerning higher education’s role, development, management, and enhancement from national, regional, and international perspectives.
Research areas of focus
- Adoption of Competence-Based Curricula and Innovative Pedagogical Reforms for the transformation of Higher Education.
- Fostering Innovations, Entrepreneurship, and Start-Up Ecosystems in Higher Education.
- Strengthening University-Industry Linkages and Knowledge Transfer.
- Transformative Research and Innovation in STEM for National Research and Development.
Abstract and Paper Submission
All papers submitted will be peer-reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research depth, accuracy and relevance to the focus areas:
- Submitted abstracts to be evaluated by the Journal editorial Committee.
- If an abstract is accepted, author will be requested to submit the full paper
- All submissions should report original and previously unpublished research results no matter the type of research paper you are presenting.
- All manuscripts will be subjected to double blind peer review and are expected to meet scientific criteria of novelty and academic excellence.
- The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article’s publication has been approved by all other co-authors and takes responsibility for the paper during submission and peer review.
- The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.
