About the Journal
The Uganda Higher Education Review is a journal for the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). The journal provides a visible outlet for definitive articles that discuss the theory, practice and policies relating to the role, development, management and improvement of Higher Education from national, regional and international view point. The journal provides a platform for scholars, researchers and higher education institutions to contribute to scholarly debate through the publication of quality peer-reviewed articles.
The objective of the journal is to publish original research on higher education. The primary aim of this journal is the dissemination of important research work that will promote, a sustainable, accessible and quality higher education that is relevant for society transformation.
Aims and Scope
The Uganda Higher Education Review is a broad-based journal that covers all aspects on higher education. Papers containing new ideas, creative approaches and/or innovative applications are welcome. Papers that discuss the theory, practice and policies relating to the role, development, management and improvement of Higher Education from national, regional and international view point are sought.

The journal provides a visible outlet for definitive articles that discuss the theory, practice and policies relating to the role, development, management and improvement of Higher Education from national, regional and international view point. The journal provides a platform for scholars, researchers and higher education institutions to contribute to scholarly debate through the publication of quality peer-reviewed articles.
The objective of the journal is to publish original research work on higher education in Uganda, primarily to promote, a sustainable, accessible and quality higher education that is relevant for society transformation.
Research areas of focus in this volume .10, issue 1, 2022 include the following;

- Sustainable development and management of academic staff
- Higher Education Funding
- Innovations to increase STEM enrolment as well as supporting teaching and learning of STEM
