The National Council for Higher Education signed a memorandum of understanding with Seed Global Health on 17th February 2021.
The Executive Director Prof. Mary J. N. Okwakol signed on behalf of NCHE while the Head of Seed Global Health Mr. Bonaventure Ahaisibwa signed on behalf of his organization.
The MoU aims at sharing knowledge and strengthening the health systems.
Prof. Okwakol hailed Seed Global Health for the support extended to Higher Education Institutions offering health-related programs in strengthening the health systems in Uganda.

She said one of the mandate functions of NCHE is to gather and disseminate information on higher education to various stakeholders, and the MoU with Seed Global Health will help in information sharing on matters of higher education.
On his part, Mr. Bonaventure Ahaisibwa, of Seed Global Health hailed NCHE for its contribution to the national development and transformation of society. He said they decided to partner with NCHE because of its mandate in accrediting the health training Institutions and they want to deal with legitimate Health Training Institutions in their work.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Dr. Pius Achanga.
